About Our Center

Learn about us
“Live this life. Don’t let this life live you.”

This mantra is the founding principle for Live Life Counseling Center. Often in life, we face difficulties, problems, and circumstances that bring us down. These life challenges, when left unaddressed, seemingly take on a life of their own. Often, we feel caught between the life we want to live and the life we are currently living. Leaving us to believe that there is no help or hope for change.

“Helping you find the strength”

Live Life’s mission is to help you learn how to find the strength from within to live the life you want to live despite life’s challenges.

“supportive, therapeutic mental health and social services”

Live Life will provide supportive, therapeutic mental health and social services to clients of all ages. Clients will gain tools, skills, knowledge, and resources needed to impact their quality of life and those around them.

The goal is to move from merely existing in life to living life.

What can I expect during the first session?

Your initial visit allows you to get to know your therapist and share your goals for the
therapeutic experience. This can be done by arriving at least 15 minutes early to
complete all necessary paperwork. Also, a comprehensive initial assessment will be
completed to determine treatment needs, options, and recommendations.
Based upon the information obtained in this session, a treatment plan will
be developed to help accomplish your goals.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. All information and client-therapist conversations remain private, as well your
attendance to therapy. We follow all strict ethical guidelines as outlined by local state
authorities and licensing boards. The only exceptions are mandated reporting of abuse
and/or neglect of vulnerable adults and children.

How much does counseling cost?

Most therapy sessions can be covered by your insurance. Insurance information will be
obtained when you schedule your initial therapy appointment.

All copays, coinsurance and pricing are based upon your insurance policy. Live Life has
no determination of the cost associated with your insurance policy. If you don’t have
insurance, we have a cash pay option available.

How long do I have to be in therapy?

The length of time spent in therapy is dependent upon your needs and what you would
like to accomplish in your life. Some clients meet their goals in a few sessions and while
others attend therapy long-term for a year or more. Your progress is based upon your
willingness to do the work. Talk to your therapist to determine your needs.

Can Live Life manage my medication?

No. We don’t provide medication management but we have several referrals of some
qualified and knowledgeable practitioners who can help.
